Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of CoBriefiT (the "Service"), a browser extension and website that helps aviation crew create revision notes from their own training. By using CoBriefiT you agree to these terms.

1. What CoBriefiT is

CoBriefiT captures the content of training you are viewing and produces revision notes and practice questions. It does not click through, skip, answer, or mark any module complete, and it does not alter your training records.

2. Acceptable use

• Use CoBriefiT only with training you are entitled to access and to process for your own study.
• Do not use it to gain an unfair advantage in a way prohibited by your employer, training provider, or regulator.
• Do not use it to circumvent, complete, or falsify any assessment or completion requirement.
• You are responsible for complying with your airline's, employer's, and regulator's policies. If they prohibit tools of this kind, do not use it.

3. Accuracy & no reliance

CoBriefiT's notes — including AI-generated summaries and any added context — are provided as a study aid only and may contain errors, omissions, or out-of-date information. Added context is generated by an AI model and is not authoritative.

• Always verify against your official training materials and current regulations.
• CoBriefiT is not a source of record, not operational guidance, and not a substitute for the training itself.
• Do not rely on CoBriefiT for any operational, safety, or compliance decision.

4. Subscriptions & payment

• CoBriefiT offers a free tier and a paid "Pro" plan (currently £3.99/month, a beta rate; the standard price is £4.99/month). Prices may change; changes will not affect your current paid period, and we will give notice before any increase takes effect.
• Free users may generate one AI briefing to try (currently a single briefing, not a recurring allowance). Pro users have unlimited AI briefings, subject to fair use.
• Payment is handled by our payment processor. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and retain access until the end of the paid period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

5. Fair use

"Unlimited" plans are for normal individual study use. We may apply reasonable limits to prevent abuse or excessive automated use that would degrade the service for others.

6. Availability

We aim to keep CoBriefiT available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features (including the AI briefing service and the underlying AI provider) may change, and third-party training platforms may change in ways that affect capture.

7. Intellectual property

The content you capture belongs to its respective owners; CoBriefiT does not claim rights in it. The CoBriefiT software, brand, and website are ours.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CoBriefiT is provided "as is" and we are not liable for any loss arising from its use, including reliance on its notes, effects on training records, or any action taken by an employer or regulator. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Independence

CoBriefiT is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any airline, aircraft manufacturer, training provider, or regulator.
